Karuppaiya Chettinadu Kms - Yercaud

We had a late lunch at this restaurant during one of our recent outings. Limited seating (primarily caters to the occupants of the hotel with limited dishes on the menu. Some items are grossly over-priced compared to the rest which are great VFM (2 phulkas for Rs 70!!! . No tandoor and therefore no tandoor-based dishes. Chicken curry was good and the phulkas were thin and tasty. My wife loved the veg. thali although we had to specifically ask for the appalam. Would recommend this place for a quick meal. They do not accept cards.

For a restaurant of this standard, it's quite surprising to see such a few reviews posted. Anyways, this restaurant is situated at the base of ACK Palace Inn,and 2 kms before Pagoda point. Ample parking space and exceptionally quiet surroundings are other plus points. We reached at 4pm after a tiring tour. Though meals were over by that time (obviously), there was a good variety of veg and non veg dishes available. Food was very tasty, and served within 15 minutes. The manager, Mr.Karthik, was quite helpful all along and it was a great experience for us. Would definitely go there again on our next visit.

Nice place to have tasty food. Its in basement of a building. Google maps have exact location. Though bit far from city, the drive in late evening for a dinner wil b awesome.

Really good food&good taste and good service for all staffs

Brilliant experience thanks to the helpful staff. The taste of food really lives up to the name. Open till 10PM. One of the ONLY restaurants in the area which is open at the time. A relief to hungry souls. P.S. preferably take your own vehicle. Walking late at night can be a difficult experience as it's a forest area with no street lights.
