We had breakfast in viavia and the staff was really terrible. first they were not sure if they were already open (after their opening hours they should have been), then it took them old to order the menu/food/sugar for the coffee and forgotten dishes we had ordered. they never smiled and gave the impression of disturbing them, and they mistaked what is vegan and what is not. when I asked what is vegan, they told me options that were clearly not vegan. they had a sourded bread with vegetables on the menu and I asked if I could get that in a vegan version and was told that there is a cold of brotes. when we went to their bakery after our visit, the brot was one of the products they offered me as vegan. eating itself was okay, not bad, not great. I can recommend their bakery next door where they have bagels and some other vegan bakery. for me this was a very disappointing visit – originally we had a look at the tours and classes viavia offers. but with such a bad attitude towards their customers I cannot imagine that they are worth it.
The ViaVia salad is amazing! they also have various Indonesian dishes of the day and a mixture of western dips also. served meat, but many vegan options and the staff are helpful.
Beautiful variety of western and Indonesian meals. small on the pricier side for eating, but bintang l is cheaper than the bars. sweet little business connected to it, and they offer a cooking class that can subdue the meat for tofu or tempeh.
Lots of options, some really good veggie and vegan food and in a lovely area of town. Also attached to a eco/reusable store for goods and products.
