Heichinrō Yokohama Honten

The best Chinese restaurant I was. Every bite brings you back to a place in China. The service is great. Once you enter the restaurant you have the receptionists and an employee who will take you to your room. I was there to celebrate my anniversary and had the best experience. You have even made a picture of us and made a postcard

Heichinro has some of the best service we have ever experienced in Japan. That says a lot. Our waiter personalized our experience (in a second language) and was very attentive. Our dinner was delicious. The Shaomai are from this world, like the pork ribs. Actually, everything we had was great, but the Shaomai were really unforgettable. We agreed that we were able to justify the journey from Tokyo to Yokohama for lunch or dinner at this excellent restaurant. That says everything. We'll be back.

Original Chinese restaurants. Strong recommendation to visit

I ordered the 5 course lunch menu, it was sublime! I drank tattinger rose brut and an excellent Chardonnay from Russian river! Not salty at all like some other reviewers claimed, delicate and subtle hints of many delicious perfectly blended ingredients. Best meal I could imagine for my last day in Japan... When the bill came everything was more than I expected. They explained that 10% is added to every menu item as service fee and 10% also added for tax! I’ve Never seen this much added onto a bill before. Service fee is usually a flat rate and appears as a separate charge. Many places charge more for foreigners or don’t allow them entrance to their establishment, either way, it leaves a bad taste to an otherwise exceptional meal...

A classy Chinese restaurant with gorgeous entrance. Taste is not exceppional, a classic Chiese cuisine with no surprising elements. Excellent place but I personally favor Shisen cuisine.
