Beautiful bar with fantastic shaken cocktails. Recommend the Whisky Sauer, Sidecar and Gimlet. Technique is amazing and the cocktails are incredibly balanced. This is a place for cocktails in Tokyo. No photograph is allowed.

It was the best bar I've ever seen. The service could be slow, but for the same reason that food comes slower in high-end restaurants. I used bars on her Martinis and Tender to give me a perfect martini. I could not order things on the menu, but I was there on a slower night and able to talk a little with Ueda-san. Its drinks are well balanced, full of taste and strong. Unless you're an extremely light weight, you'll never get drunk here. Ueda-san makes all drinks and is the same every time. A real cocktail bar, not a Mixology bar or a drink bar, but a place to experience real cocktails.

You have to understand Japanese classic bartending to come here and enjoy it. If you want mixology and avant garde drinks, go to BenFiddich. This is authentic Japanese bartending. Be warned, ginza is not a cheap place to grab a drink. It's expensive. Mr. Ueda is the most famous bartender in Ginza. He is 80 now but he is still making great drinks. His gimlet and daiquiri are fantastic. I hope I can come again and enjoy his amazing drinks.

Very lovely bar with a cushioned arm rest! Quite expensive for the rather usual cocktails they make. They stick to the classics which they make very well. Friendly staff as well. It's very nice to see creator of the Hard Shake at work.
