Great place and ambiente. came here only to drink strawberry juice very recommended). even if the place is only eaten on request, they served me strawberry juice. personal is nice and helpful
The pasta is not very good at all. Which is pretty rare in Tokyo. Unfriendly staff. The decor and atmosphere overall is just average, the sister shop next door looked better in that sense.
Small kissaten with decent coffee but not much atmosphere. After thoroughly enjoying my visit to Saboru about a month ago I had a chance to visit their sister shop, creatively named Saboru 2. After I ordered my blend coffee another customer came in and sat at the table next to mine. Her enormous plate of Napolitan pasta arrived before my coffee. The coffee was tasty and the service was fine but the atmosphere felt somewhat rundown and cluttered where Saboru manages to feel cozy and eclectic. Maybe it would help if the one time white walls were re-painted. When I asked I learned that this shop had been in operation for more than 30 years. It looked it. Not recommend. Go next door to Saboru instead.
One of the few survived pure Western Japanese style cafes, where you can still taste the atmosphere of a dence shows era. it is located in a center of the second bookstore area where it is worth visiting when they stay in tokio.
