I could not recommend this place enough, it was a little expensive, but the additional yen, I definitely go back to my next trip. oh, and I took the steak sandwich away and had it for lunch the next day.
Super homey restaurant and friendly staff. They speak English so no worry about having communication barriers. The menu is in English too so fear not. The food, impeccable. I had the giant oysters which were sweet and not too briny, so it was really easy to eat. Paired with their tomato salsa of sorts, amazing flavour! The beef, we had a sirloin and filet. Both were amazingly good. The filet was so soft and full of flavour, unlike other filets which I have eaten before. Simply amazing and when paired with mustard or fresh grated wasabi and soy, you get totally different flavour profiles. Sirloin was good but i will not recommend medium at all, for this beef, medium rare is the only way to fully enjoy unless you do not like the texture. It’s not bad, but I’m just a medium rare lover. Dessert was cute with a vanilla ice cream and green tea ice cream, pineapples and cheesecake and the petit four was amazing. Nice juicy sweet lemon rinds, a pavlova looking dessert, crunchy sesame tuille and some white thingy which I cannot remember sadly. Must go restaurant and with an amazingly Friendly Husband and Wife team.
This has become one of my favorite restaurants in the world! Just a great environment with amazing food. The crab crochet is hard to describe in words and the steak is cooked to perfection. I have not tried the steak sandwich but it is on the list for a future visit as they look amazing.
Awesome steak had the sirloin and it was fantastic steak are dry aged and the beef melts in your mouth. Really good beef must try in Tokyo and also have the take away sandwich. Steaks are cook in a charcoal oven which is perfect and baked garlic right on top. Abit pricey considering but it’s in Tokyo so expect to pay abit more
Casual and small steakhouse. Friendly service. English menu is available so it is useful for non-Japanese speaking diners. Good selection of items on the menu. The quality and the taste of the meat is excellent. The crab croquette is also not to be missed.
