Don Jose Mexican - Yonkers

Friday night around 6:30pm with my wife we got one of the last inside tables. Easy going, but relatively fast service. Excellent food. We got tacos doradas, enchiladas banditas and chimichanga. churros for dessert. I would easily come back here but with more people. They have grill plates for both meats and seafoods. I will come back with 4-6 to do shareables!

Service was not good at all. No excuses the restaurant was not full at the time we went. Took forever to get anything. Had to ask the staff for water 3 times. Ask one more time and they brought my wife a margarita instead. Not that we mind but not what was ordered. It's a shame the food is really good. Just need better staffing or a manager that cares.....

This is my boyfriend and I’s favorite go-to restaurant. The food, service and quality never ever miss. 11/10

Food was made to perfection. My husband and I dined in today we honestly did not expect it to taste so good. We’re definitely going back.

Checked out this neighborhood gem yesterday with some friends. I have to say I was impressed. Service was great, our server was friendly and super courteous. She made excellent recommendations and was prompt with our requests. I am definitely going back with my family.
