Lola On The Grill - Yonkers

I just drove through Yonkers today and stopped at Lola on the Grill. I have to say, for the first time, that the Mofongo here is the best I've ever had, especially compared to 99% of the Dominican restaurants I've tried in Queens. I will definitely be back—five stars all the way! It’s worth the trip.

In my honest opinion, this is the best restaurant in all of Westchester County. The staff is attentive and friendly, ensuring a wonderful dining experience even in such a busy environment. My family and I always receive exceptional service. My personal favorite dish is the shrimp Mofongo! Thank you, Lola, for everything you contribute to our community, in addition to serving up delicious food!

I was initially hesitant to try this restaurant based on some reviews, but I must say I’ve had a wonderful experience every time! There may be a sense of rudeness at times, but it's important for the line to keep moving. If you're taking a moment to decide, it’s courteous to let the next person go ahead. Overall, this is a great restaurant, and I plan to return. After 10 purchases, I’ll be able to get a Lola loyalty card for a free meal, which I’m looking forward to redeeming soon!

I am surprised at all the negative reviews. I have never had an issue but maybe that has just been my experience. I love their food. I usually get their pepper chicken or pepper steak when they have it. I have been here quite a few times and have never been disappointed.

Lola on the Grill did a wonderful job at catering my husband's 40th birthday!!! All of my guests loved the food! Lola took really good care of us! Her service was awesome! I definitely recommend Lola on the Grill and will continue to use her catering services. My family and I have been loyal customers since 2008!
