Saints Scholars - Yonkers

Found this place randomly gave it try since it had decent reviews. The staff was friendly attentive, the food was excellent portions are generous. Short rib mac cheese, shrimp tacos (3 to an order), and the caprese salad are a must try. NOTE: it is a cash-only establishment.Food: 5/5

My wife and I waited about 10 minutes but the bartender did not acknowledge us even though she acknowledged another group behind us. We got up and left when we realized everyone was White, including the two bartenders. We concluded they don't really like people od color here. No smile, greeting, or hello. Nothing. She saw us walk in and turned away.

Love the bartenders there. I usually go early Friday afternoons and the bartender is always so sweet and helpful!I only gave it a 4 bc they only take cash

Cash only. Only time you'll learn this is if you read the tiny fine print on one of the many menus and when your card is denied at the end of your meal. Service and atmosphere is the primary reason for coming.Food: 2/5
