I decided to add the Spicy to the Tonkatsu Shoyu as well as it was actually a fun combination of flavors. I really liked it. It is not life-changing rams, but it is good and not as expensive as other places. On average, the bowls here are one dollar or two cheaper than most and they already come with an egg, so you do not have to pay extra for it. It's a yes in my book, plus it's in the market, so if you have to go shopping, you're already there!
It's not gourmet, but the job is done. Everything tastes great, but the noodles are pretty chewing and there are very limited seats. Definitely more of a Canteen style eating experience.
Nice taste, very busy for the weekday meal, so give yourself enough time.
Since Covid started, whenever I'm back in town, I grab their prepackaged ramen that's available after 11 am to take back with me to college. $7.99 very decent grab to go meals, just need a microwave. I heat it up for 4 to 5 minutes because I like mine nice and hot. No need to add water or anything, heating melts the soup. Keep the cover loosely on in case the egg does some exploding.
An amazing Ramen spot located inside Tokyo Market. Reminds me a lot of Japan grocery stores with restaurants located within. The Ramen is excellent. They have a delicious vegan option. Prices are reasonable. I drive from Riverside to enjoy a great bowl of Ramen with my son.
