I had an iced coffee the day before and it was also fantastic. The restaurant is small with limited seating inside, but there is also outdoor seating available.
You must try the thick bread sandwiches at this restaurant, they are absolutely delicious! The brownies also look amazing, although I haven't had a chance to try them yet.
Nice little cafe, although it is on the smaller side with only about 4 or 5 tables. We enjoyed some delicious coffee and cake. The lunch menu had a good variety of options, all priced around £8. The lady named Gillian who served us was very pleasant and took the time to have a friendly chat.
Stopped of here while visiting York one morning for a coffee and croissant, with butter and jam. Everything wasn’t freshly prepared and they sure do serve an excellent cup of coffee. Fresh croissants served with a smile. Bright and clean, what more could you ask for. Highly recommend this place.
While staying at The Lawrance, we started our day with the delicious home made breakfast treats and excellent coffee the are on offer at Cafe 74. The staff was very friendly and prices are competitive.
