Meadow Hill Family Restaurants - York

This is one of my favorite breakfast spots. My family has been coming here for years! They also serve delicious coffee, so the service is always excellent.

I love this place! The portions are generous, the owner is friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We arrived at the restaurant on a Sunday morning at 10:41, but by 11am, no one had even taken our order. Despite other customers arriving after us and having their orders taken, we were completely ignored. The only person who was kind to us was the young man who brought our drinks. Feeling frustrated and hungry, we ultimately decided to leave. It was disappointing to not even be acknowledged by a waitress.

I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. My friend Ronnie ordered his usual veal parmigiana and really enjoyed it. However, I decided to try the baked oatmeal, which is usually my favorite dish. Let me tell you, it was a major disappointment. I have tried baked oatmeal at many different places, but this was by far the worst in terms of texture, flavor, and appearance. We ordered takeout, so the restaurant is only a 3-minute drive from home. Ronnie may return, but I don't think I will be back.

I ordered carryout tonight. very reasonable and they give you a lot for your money. Excellent food. So glad they are open back up for takeout.
