I would give this place a 2.5 out of 5. The interior is nice, but the prices are extremely high. The staff was somewhat friendly, but when I asked if a specific product contained garlic in the sauce, I was told, “Not that I know of.” Unfortunately, it did have garlic, and now I’m sick for the next few days because they didn’t double-check. Also, I received an embarrassing amount of meat on my sub, and the portion of cheese was just as excessive. Overall, my experience was not great.
I visited this location around 8:45 PM, and the two employees were preparing to close, mopping the floor and putting lids on all the meat, cheese, and vegetables. Since they were supposed to stay open until 10 PM, I didn’t think it would be a problem to stop by at that time. I was mistaken. The employee at the counter made it clear that he was not pleased with my presence, slapping the meat and cheese onto my sub while sighing the entire time. Midway through my order, a group of people came in, and the glares they received could have been lethal. While the food is always good, the evening service leaves much to be desired. I understand the need to prepare for closing, but they were still meant to be open for over an hour, so treating me as if I walked in just before closing is simply unacceptable.
The employees are hardworking and quite busy, so if you're short on time, you might want to consider ordering online. They have the best cookies!
I arrived at the restaurant and found it empty. After waiting for about five minutes, I noticed one employee starting to process online orders while chatting with another employee. She mentioned that they prioritize online orders over walk-ins, which is understandable, but I wondered why one employee couldn’t handle the online orders while the other assisted me instead of leaving me waiting. At one point, she claimed they were super busy because someone had walked out, but it was clear that they weren't. The entire interaction felt a bit rude and passive-aggressive. Additionally, they tried to push their new pizzas and app on me, even after I politely indicated I wasn't interested. All I wanted was my sandwich so I could leave — how hard can that be to understand? The sandwich was average, and honestly, I think I’ll just stick to packing my own lunches instead of visiting Subway once a week like I used to.
