The Squirrel Inn - York

You just missed a fantastic pub! I've driven past its sign at least five times before finally realizing what was ahead and deciding to stop in. Even at 2:00 a.m. on a weekday, the entire menu was available, with just one dish labeled as the ‘special of the day’ not available. There’s plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, ample parking, and it’s a great spot for groups, friends, or family—perfect for a lunch outing like mine!

Wow! The food at this restaurant is fantastic. The portions are quite generous, even the appetizers are huge. The exterior is beautiful, and the service is excellent. I highly recommend it!

We visit this restaurant every year when we camp nearby. It's a short walk away, and the outdoor playground keeps the kids entertained while the adults enjoy drinks and conversation. The service is decent, and there's a good selection of beverages. It's a spacious, quaint country pub that’s perfect for lunch. A bit of shade in the play area would definitely be a nice addition.

Nice food and well maintained. We eat here regularly if we recommend Hastings on our family holiday.

The best Roast dinner EVER!!! There was not one thing I could fault with the food or the service. Defo 10 out of 10.
