EVERYTHING was wonderful, spiced well, flavorful, good quality. portion sizes were perfect for sharing. also, the coconut milk thai tea was perfectly sweet. must try for vegan food. Dietary restrictions: VEGAN friendly.
Im literally the only one sitting in the restaurant with my 2 year old granddaughter. We are waiting for a $35 to go order. I asked if we could have a glass of ice water (tap water) as we wait. I was told NO. I had to buy a water because our order was to go. There were 1/2 empty glasses of water on the counter from previous customers. The young lady said “water not free”. She’s literally in the back shouting at the top of her voice for the duration of preparing our food and adds a big yell “Nothing is Free Here!!” I’m new to the area this place is 2 blocks from my house. I have been here several times to eat in take out. I will drive across town for Thai for now onanywhere but here. For being a small business that struggles like everyone else, you would think trying to keep paying customers coming back to your establishment would be your #1 goal. It was a request for tap water. I’m sorry, it’s a food industry “no brainer”! It was just a poor professional choice.
This restaurant automatically adds a 20% gratuity for dine-in customers, which takes away my ability to tip based on my preference, and I really dislike that. They try to present it as a positive feature, but it feels quite forced—who wants that? Additionally, there are no drink refills, which is disappointing. With only two tables in such a small space, it feels cramped and stuffy. We opted for takeout, but unfortunately, the food didn't impress us. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50.

The building had a musty scent that felt quite old. The fried rice was excessively sweet, and the Tom Yum noodle soup was unexpectedly bland. We had to carefully check every detail on the bill, as it seemed they charged for everything little thing. Ultimately, we left without leaving a tip because of the poor service and the excessive charges. We chose not to confront them about the discrepancies, but later found out that they had added a 20% service charge to our bill without our authorization or signature. We originally signed for $66.25, but our bank statement showed a total of $80.31, reflecting an unauthorized 20% increase after we had already departed. We responded by saying: You used our credit card information to charge extra after we left, which is essentially theft. We believed we were paying for what we had ordered and didn't realize you were overcharging us without our consent. While you may have your own policy for additional charges, it’s crucial that such fees are clearly indicated on the receipt, which was not done in this case.
