I had such a unique and beautiful experience at this restaurant! Personally, I would have liked to see a bit more meat and vegetables in the dishes (refer to pictures for reference). The kimchi was absolutely delicious and the best I've ever had!
This restaurant has never failed us with its limited yet good selection of freshly prepared Korean dishes Shabu, the huge emptying and its traditional kalkuksoo. Even the Kimchi is out. We always satisfied the dishes. The servers are Korean, the order... the desires could be a little disgusting for some who could demand influence and fluidity in their communication what they want, we had no problem. There is a certain authenticity in the fact that they only speak English!
Our friend recommended this restaurant to us and we are so glad he did! The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make for a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant, located in a corner in Markham, offers Japanese-inspired dishes with a Korean twist. Each table has a small grill where you can cook your own food, adding to the fun and unique aspect of the meal. We tried the traditional soup bowl with beef and vegetables, as well as the amazing dumplings. Whether steamed or in the soup, the dumplings were delicious. After finishing our meal, we were instructed to cook creamy noodles in the broth, which was absolutely fantastic. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.
With the freezing cold weather this week, we decided to have hot pot dinner to keep warm. Since we have been to almost all of the Chinese hot pot restaurants in town, we decided to try Korean shabu. Service was excellent. We were seated within...minutes with a very friendly and smiling wait staff. Right the way hot tea were served as soon as we have seated down. Ordered the shabu dinner with seafood. Both vegetable and seafood were fresh and cleaned. The beef was nice and thinned sliced, and with the hot broth, just shabu twice and was ready to eat. Kimchi was freed and all you can eat. I finished the the entire bowl by myself. This was our first visit but definitely will come back again soon.
