Oakwood Pizzeria - York

Hidden Gem. I have been a fan of Oakwood for quite some time now. The pizza is cooked with a thin crust and is always very crispy and flavorful. There is just the right amount of sauce on the pizza as well. The only gripe is that the toppings are on the small side but I can honestly say this is one of the best in the city. I have also had the veal sandwiches and they are served on a lightly toasted bun which is both fresh and crunchy. The sauce once again was just the right amount and the peepers and mushrooms included were very tasty

I had a great experience at this pizza restaurant. The service was excellent and the prices were very affordable. This is now my go-to spot for pizza, and I will definitely be returning for more delicious meals in the future.

The pizza and panzos at this restaurant are fantastic! The homemade tomato sauce is wholesome and delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone. The panzos are baked, not fried, and the dough is superb. The cuisine here is authentic and has a real Italian-family vibe.

I have been a loyal customer of Oakwood Pizza since 1975. Since 1976, I have been making the drive from Barrie to Toronto just to indulge in their delicious homemade pizza. Toronto is fortunate to have such a fantastic restaurant offering the best pizza I have ever tasted. I only wish they would consider opening a location in Barrie. I highly recommend paying them a visit.
