This restaurant is a great place to eat because there's a lot of dishes to choose from and they all taste pretty good. The portions are quite large and the staff is very friendly. I do have to say that the booths don't have the most comfortable seats.
We come to this restaurant often, food are great and good size portion too. What I like the most is the staff really take the time to make us comfortable, very family friendly.
I'm here twice a week religiously and have been for years. Food is solid. Service is really fast. They all serve you which ends up being quicker. One of the other reviewers complained that he wasn't ready to order then when he was, there was nobody to take it. Don't know what he's talking about because there's always one of them around, just raise your hand.Anyways, the pho is great, good proportion of noodle (you can choose thick or thin which is nice) to meat. The broth is very good and trust me I've had a lot of pho at a lot of places over the years. I've also had their Singapore rice noodle which was top notch (ask for the red chili oil so you can drizzle some on top! So good.). Another dish I really like which they serve is the rice with pork chop and egg meatloaf (Cha Trung). Cha Trung is such a nice treat especially with the fish sauce and isn't available everywhere. You really should try it. I just wish they had broken rice instead of regular rice. Broken rice is magical :)Everything is clean, fresh, and very friendly. When it's time to pay I usually just walk over to the bar and use the machine. Works every time. Never had any of the payment problems or issues with the server putting in their own tip like one of the other reviewers stated. I think that reviewer just had bad luck or works for a competitor and is trying to make this place seem bad. Trust me. You will have good food and service here and will be happy when you're done. If you want something raise your hand. It's a busy place so they don't have time to keep asking you if you want or need something.
I had satay and it came with no sauce. Usually they give peanut sauce. Even their photos show it... Taste of it was pretty bland and as someone who likes satay, it was far from the best I've had. I would suggest putting a bit of spices in them(spices not hot pepper...)Tom Yam was also not authentic for some reason. I've had much better in Thailand, Vietnam and most restaurants in Toronto. It was a bit watery and although it was spicy, it had little flavor or proper spices in it. I can also suggest chopping the nuts on the mango salad as well as the whole-nuts they put is a bit too much and not comfortable to eat. Prices are reasonable though and they just need to work on better ingredients in the food to make it authentic.
