I went to the location in downtown Toronto but I am sure they are similar. Very kind and welcoming staff. On the expensive side but well worth it.
I’m really glad that I got to try the crepes from T-Swirl Crepe finally! Because of my experience on this visit, I am currently led to believe that their sweet crepes may be a better choice than their savory crepes. However, who knows. If I return again, I will try their other crepe selections. One thing I do want to note is that the crepes are fairly expensive — around $9-14 after taxes for one. Thus, that’s one reason why I can’t see myself running back any time soon to try more. It was satisfying to eat (so fun to watch it being made too) but it was not a filling meal.
This place opened a while ago and serves different sweet and savory crepes. We ordered the matcha red bean crepe which comes with matcha ice cream, some pocky, strawberry, and red bean inside twirled into a crepe. The crepe itself was pretty delicious as expected with the flavours but was difficult to eat because it was in a circular twirled shape. The service is also a bit slow but they were nice about it when we finally got our crepe. It doesn't seem to stand out from other crepe places other than how many flavors and combinations they offer - they even have a steak one which is pretty cool.
This place makes its crepes from scratch which is good because it ensures everything is cooked right off the kitchen. But this also means if there is 5 people ahead of you, there is a bit of a wait time. The food here is great. We had the Egg White Mushroom Truffle and the Chicken Teriyaki. If you do have a big appetite, expect to order another crepe. This place is great and worth a second visit.
I came here with friends and the crepes are definitely better than the usual ones in the GTA (in my opinion). I know this is a franchise that came from the US and the food wasn't a disappointment. This place is made to order so there is a wait time of about 5 - 8 mins. If there are a couple people ahead of you then expect to wait at least 30 mins while they make your food from scratch. We ordered the Egg White Mushroom Truffle and the Shrimp Avocado. We didn't try the dessert crepes but it did look good. My one comment is that the prices here are on average $10 - $12 for a crepe and I wasn't entirely full from eating one so if you are a dude looking to be full then do expect to order a second crepe.
