We asked out Waitress if this was the correct serving portion and were told it was. Like I said not nearly enough to fill an adult and not nearly enough for the Price they are charging. It really is a Kids Portion for example at Mezze Notte. The Pizza came about 8 Minutes before our Pasta's arrived. Burnt to the point of non-edible and Raw in the middle. Not very good...again for the price they are charging. As ell the Pasta's Noodles are OUT OF A BOX.!!!I have been dining out with my wife and friends for many years now. If you want to try Vivo's I would suggest you do so sooner rather than later....as they won't be around that much longer based on what we saw and experienced. Bye bye Vivi.Peter Donnfield.
2 Saturday's ago 6 Of us (4 Adults/2 Children)arrived at this location @ 8:25pm. The Hours Posted on the door states they are open until 9:00pm. When we entered one of the staff were stacking the chairs on the tables and they were in the process of closing the restaurant for the night...on a Saturday night. We asked the girl at the front what was going on? She said the Chef was closing the Kitchen early but we could order Pizza to go. WHAT---ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? I pointed out the sign says open until 9:00pm. She was obviously uncomfortable and had no further answer so I asked for the Manager. We were then told there is No Manager On Duty all the time, only when one of the owners are there. What a joke!! In the meantime 2 more parties showed up after us and were turned away as well after being told they were closing early. You would think a relatively new restaurant would be trying to win customers....not turning them away. What poor attitude and seems as if nobody really cared. They were more interested in leaving than they were in satisfying the needs of new customers. Needless to say we will never be back and will tell our friends and associates about this as well. Far too many other options in the neighbourhood to spend our money. We ended up at Mr Greek in the same plaza and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves as did one of the other patrons who showed up after us but got turned away.Bye Bye Vivo....Never Again!!Richard and Donna Cairns.
I have been here half a dozen times already, both for lunch and dinner with friends and family. The staff is extremely friendly and eager to please. The food always delicious. Highly recommend.
I visited Vivo in January with family and friends and the service was uncoordinated. One of the party didn't receive her appetizer until our mains were out and then her main sat getting cold. The servers were overly casual, seemed to lack training and were lacking information. We discussed this with the owner and because the restaurant was relatively new, we decided it was worth a second try.Our recent visit(same server) lacked polish that one would expect. The server seemed rushed, disinterested in customers and has not improved much since my first visit. Prices are good, food was good, the place is very small but I will not visit again until I am assured more attentive service.
This small Italian pizza and pasta spot is great for local dining. The pizzas are amazing and the pastas are simple. The VIVO (pesto with chicken) and MARGERITA pizzas are always our favs. Catering via their pizza truck is also available for events. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.
