My wife had the prawn and saffron risotto and I had the prawn baguette. The food came out quickly and both were outstanding. To top it all off the service was top notch and the views over the marina were stunning. Not a fan of paying 10% extra for non members but we'll certainly be back.
Do not recommend this restaurant if planning to dine here with a group of more than 5 people. Saw that even smaller groups of tables also waited a long time for their meals. Staff member Luke was great in receiving the poor feedback of our experience, and he really does deserve alot of credit as the other staff members were quite rude. Even as we were seated he was the only staff member that had a great attitude and was very welcoming. Granted it did look like the establishment was short staffed, but not informing diners of when the meals were going to come out, or serving the children's meals first did become a problem. Views were great, restaurant had great decor and space, but the waiting time for meals was shocking.
A great place for the view at sundown and priced reasonably for average food and even more average service. There are always plenty of spare tables and they supply a drinkers bus for those whose wish to enjoy a liquid meal .I dined there once a year ago , that was enough and yet I live in Yorkeys!
It was freezing in there the night we went, it lacks a lot of atmosphere, felt more like a conference room. I do not enjoy being called 'Darl' by the waitstaff, my entree of gyoza was very lacklustre (this was taken off the bill which I didn't ask for but was a pleasant surprise, although I would have much preferred to have enjoyed my entree), hubby had the crayfish which was very tasty but a little too much pastry, although this is probably more of a personal preference. Steaks for mains were okay but not cooked how they should have been although I was told quite rudely that they were always cooked to perfection. No wine service and all in all not really an enjoyable evening, won't be going back!
Not very busy but took 40 mins to get a glass of water and take our order! No sorry. Staff we pleasant. Red wine came out freezing cold. We had seafood for entree and main, both over cooked, especially the prawns and scallops but sauce was good. Calamari was great, fish was good. Ordered sirloin steak medium rare and it came out raw but it was tender. Had to send it back. Wouldn't go back.
