Tapps Brewing Company - Yorkton

The menu has too many offerings, which means that the kitchen can't do any of them well. I had Indian Butter Chicken. It was to Indian food as Chef Boyardee is to Italian. Not a compliment. If they're not going to do a good job on the menu item, why have offer it at all?Is this really a brewing company? Maybe it's a chain and they brew elsewhere, but the offings on tap seemed very ordinary.Service was good. Sports playing on several large TVs, but the volume was off.

Went in for a nice reasonably priced dinner and was surprised by ordering a steak sandwich that was excellent for 14.00 was done to perfection served hot and quickly service was great

Ordered a draft beer while waiting for our food and it was served at room temperature. Couldn't even finish it. Probably one of the worst meals I've had. Ordered a wrap sandwich and it was 90% lettuce. The tomatoes in the salad were so hard at first I thought it was a cucumber. Tried another tomato and sure enough just as hard as the first one. There was only one other table occupied when we were there, now I know why.

A google search for craft beer in Yorkton provided this facility, which also makes reference to being a brew pub.This could not be further from the truth. We sat at a table and on arrival I asked the waitress what craft beers are on tap. She started naming the multi-nationals. I then explained what local small breweries do they have. She named one, but had no idea where they were from, said it was a light beer.No way this is a brew pub, it is no more than a bar with lots of TV's tuned to sports channels. It also smelled of stale grease, so we up and left.

Fabulous Prime Rib sandwich on friday nights for only $2 canadian… So much meat and it was delicious!! Great rib too!
