Rivah Cafe - Yorktown

I visited this restaurant on a Friday night and sat at the bar. The staff and service were excellent. However, I was not impressed with the food. I started with the mussels, but the sauce was too salty and the mussels were small. The fish and chips I had next were overcooked and lacked flavor. I may return to this restaurant, but I will probably just stick to ordering a hamburger.

As someone who has worked as a server for years, I must say that this was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. The service was terrible, the drinks were subpar, and it took an entire hour for our food to be served, which was ultimately the kitchen's fault, not our server's. However, I must point out that our server was incredibly rude to my spouse and our friends' spouses for unknown reasons. She continuously insulted my spouse for ordering vodka. To make matters worse, our burgers were overcooked to the point of being inedible and the scallops I ordered gave me food poisoning. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this restaurant.

My family and I visited this restaurant for Mother's Day brunch for the first time since before the pandemic and we were very disappointed. We had reservations for 5 adults and 2 kids and have been to their brunch in the past, but things have gone downhill. The price was $60 for adults and $25 for kids, which we found to be high, especially considering the quality of the food. Our server, Landon, was attentive and the only good part of our experience. Unfortunately, the food was a letdown for all of us. The buffet line was poorly maintained, with empty platters and strange flavors. The desserts, including key lime pie, chocolate mousse, and peach cobbler, were all disliked by our entire party. Unless there are changes made, we will not be returning. Good luck to anyone who decides to dine here.

My family visited this restaurant for Easter. The food was delicious and they service was great! Our waitress Savannah attended to our every need. The manager Sid went above and beyond to make sure all of our wants were met. He had items on the menu made just our table. I was greatly impressed with the service.

This restaurant is great for hosting events and private parties. The servers were extremely accommodating, friendly, and genuine! The food was amazing, delicious, and came out in a timely manner. Crystal the event manager worked really hard to get everything set up nicely for us! They have a lot of specialty drinks and do really great, not too expensive flights!
