Maria's Pizza - YORKTOWN HEIGHTS

I make the trip from Connecticut just to dine here; the pizza slices are the best and the prices are unbeatable. I don't understand the negative comments about the customer service. I've always had a great experience. People should lighten up and recognize how challenging the restaurant industry can be, especially after the last few years.

A QUESTION FOR MARIA'S....... Can you make me a deep-fried calzone? When I was a kid, they were deep-fried almost everywhere you went. The raw dough was fried, filled with whatever you liked, and then baked for a few minutes. It seems like nobody wants to do that anymore, probably because it’s too much effort. Can you do it? I gave you a five-star review in hopes of getting a response. I've never actually visited your restaurant.

The pizza here is good, but the selection and cooking can be inconsistent. I've visited three times; twice the pizza was fantastic, but on my last visit, my slice was limp. It seems like one of the pizza makers might not be up to par. The selection can also be hit or miss, but overall, the pizza was large and very tasty.

Excellent pizza. Best in town! Love the wings too. Lil pricey especially given the times we live in, but u gotta do what u gotta do.
