Silver Fox Grill - Yorkville

A beautiful, clean atmosphere, and our food and drinks have come out perfectly each of the 3 times we've eaten there, including our enormous steaks. I see why reviewers rave about the server Becky, she's incredibly attentive, knows the menu really well, and has a wonderful personality and attitude. We're delighted to have a delicious restaurant and steakhouse closer than Naperville. It's appropriately priced with its peers.

Four of us went to the Silver Fox on July 1 for dinner with a couple who had already been there and had the most wonderful time. Walked in to a relaxed, chill environment and were greeted by our server Robin. The highlight of our drink order was the smoked Old Fashioned. We had apps of cheese curds, flatbread pizza and fried calamari which were all very tasty. We all had various types of burgers which were cooked the way we requested. I have to add that Robin was fantastic. She took great care of us and also put up with our shtick. I have to add that she had some pretty creative lines of her own which fit quite nicely with ours. Also kudos to Linda the manager who made sure we were treated well and provided a dessert on the house. All in all, a wonderful dining experience. If in the area, I highly recommend the Silver Fox, you won't be disappointed.

My wife and son visited on Father’s Day, and it was pretty good. The hostess was a little frazzled, but got us seated and out waitress was great. Started with a martini and old fashioned both very nice. Drinks were all amazing, highly recommend one of the smoked old fashioned, I was convinced it was all a show but it does make a notable difference. Food was a little much to get to your head around. There was sushi, steaks and normal main courses as well. We ordered a burger for our son that came out with our oysters. His burger was good, the oysters were horrible. They weren’t shucked well at all, and the sauces that they paired them with weren’t very good. Then they brought the beets side that we ordered, the. Five minutes later the sushi, then twenty minutes later the steak I ordered. Aside from the oysters the food was all good, just the pacing and order of food delivery was a little odd. Overall it was a good stop for the price, we will definitely go back just 100% skip on the oysters next time.

Mommy Day Brunch was a hit. We really enjoyed the yummy food and the champagne flights. I really wish they offered brunch more often, it was seriously outstanding.

Been here a few times now with the last being may 5th. They were packed and had dancers preforming. Was a great show. Drinks were great and customer service was outstanding. Appetizer was great too. I ordered the ribs which I had here a few times and were always outstanding this time not so great the sauce was chunky the presentation not the greatest didn't even have the fire salt this time and taste was flat. Definitely something changed meat was tender just the taste was off. Hopefully they get it figured out and fixed. I saw a few other posts stating small portions I can honestly say I have never left here hungry. I truly hope this last experience was just a fluke.
