The Village Pub - Yorkville

I try to find local watering holes and this fit my needs. The atmosphere is great and people are friendly

This place is a nice hometown bar. Very clean. Nice staff. Big portions of food. If you're someone looking for a safe place to drink this is it. The owner is always sitting here watching everything that happens. Nothing bad will happen here. I'm a truck driver and it's the only place I'll let my girlfriend go when I'm thousands of miles away out on the road because I know she won't get hurt or robbed or nothing here. The owner watches this place like a hawk.

Great pub with fantastic bartenders who have a great sense of humor.

The bartender was excellent and very friendly. Though I am a bit disappointed, came there to try the wings which I heard were phenomenal, was told the cook never showed. I'm giving 5 stars for the bartender alone. I will be back to try the food.
