Clean orderly friendly fresh oil for fryers so no added taste or smell between fish other fried foods. Excellent occasional stop.Food: 5/5
As you can probably tell, this used to be an Arthur Treachers. They still serve up good fried food without the mustard yellow color scheme that some people may not like. But that 's what made Arthur Treachers so recognizable. Captain Arthurs needs a better outside sign to attract customers. It 's just plain white! I drove past this place for 2 months before I finally noticed it!
The fish was too fishy, if that makes sense. Everything else, fries, coleslaw etc was good but just couldn’t muster the fish, wasn’t good.
The fish was under cooked an the chicken was over cooked so was the hush puppies i wasn't given an tartar sauce even though I asked for extra and and received none. My recent visit was a total disappointmentFood: 1/5
