Hot Dog Allie - Youngstown

Traveled 30 minutes to try Hot Dog Allie’s for the first time. The employee’s were very friendly and quick to take my order. I was under the impression they would offer some sort of combo meal, but it appears everything needs to be ordered separately which clearly adds up! The loaded waffle fries only comes in a shareable size and approx. $8 by itself. I wish they offered a regular size to pair with a hot dog. The loaded waffle fries were great, crispy. I don’t think I’ll return until revisions are made on the menu to be more budget friendly or at least offer a combo meal so you aren’t spending $18 for lunch. :

Great chicken sandwich but there was a nice long hair in the macaroni

This is a real restaurant. The food was out of this world great. The chili sauce is better than the original Jibjab sauce. Everything was hot and freshly made. The potato puffs are addictive. The pulled pork sandwich was one of the best that I have ever tasted. Forget all these corporate chain fake hotdog shops popping up everywhere. Go here once, and you will be a customer for life.Parking: Nice big paved parking lot. Plenty of room.

Went to order at the window and wasn't even acknowledged by an employee who was eating in front of the service window. After taping on the glass to catch the employee attention she became upset since she was on break. A car pulled up to the drive thru and got served from another employee that came out of nowhere.
