Republic Pizzeria Pub - Youngstown

This is some of the best pizza I've ever tasted! I've traveled all over Europe and the Youngstown area, and I haven't come across anywhere that matches the quality found in Europe. The pizza here clearly showcases a commitment to quality. It rivals or even surpasses what you would find in Italy. The fresh flavors of the toppings, paired with the expertly crafted crust, make this the top spot for pizza. My family and I are now fans for life and will likely never order pizza from anywhere else again.

To start off, I haven’t had a chance to eat yet. I called ahead and ordered a 12-inch pizza, and I was informed it would be ready in 20 minutes. After waiting the suggested time, I walked in and mentioned that I was there to pick up my pizza. The employee gave me a blank stare and walked away to prepare my pizza, which hadn’t even been made yet. I ended up waiting another 20 minutes.

I was appalled to witness a staff member at this restaurant take it upon himself to grab a piece of chicken directly off my fresh pizza with his bare hands, and right in front of my Uber Eats driver, no less. How can someone feel comfortable doing something like that? I’m grateful for the honest people out there who won't let this kind of behavior slide—it’s absolutely unacceptable. I would advise caution when dining here! This can’t be the first time he’s acted like this. Truly disgusting! Just wow.

The pizza here is a delicious marriage of Neapolitan and New York styles. Both the cook and the bartender were very friendly and professional. They stayed open past closing to accommodate me which I didn?t realize until the place cleared out! Will beback!

Oh yes!!! This. Crust. Is. Amazing!! Popped in to grab a slice (we always try to try some place new each time we are in town) and I ordered a white a traditional pepperoni. We popped in an odd time, the place was empty but the gentleman helping us wassuper friendly and I realized this place is not empty often with the quality of this pizza. The crust alone...Amazing! Iunderstand they?re opening up another location in a month and half or so and we will definitely be back!!
