Le P'tit Jean - Yport

Even if the place is really small and easy-going, the food was amazing, very tasty, well presented and clearly superfresh! The guy that waits the tables is nice and smily. If you are near Yport it definitely worth a visit! 2 entrées (really big ones), 2 main courses, 2 desserts, three beers and a coffee : 48 euro

This place is very tiny and cramped....but the service was very friendly and they had an excellent jazz band playing. The food is okay. Nothing to write home about. We had the charcutt (omg, I have no idea how to spell it) de Mar (basically a bowl of different types of fish and seafood such as salmon, cod, haddock, shrimp and mussels in a creamy sauce over sauerkraut!) and it was pretty good. I loved the sauerkraut, definitely my favorite part! We also had creamed cod, pretty tasty but also somewhat bland. And the fries were not so great...a little too soft for my tastes and, like all the fries I've had in France so far, seemed to be mass-made. I'm looking for hand-cut, homemade fries!! Where are they?Oh, and service is so slow! Expect to be there for hours....waiting with dirty dishes for 30 minutes and then waiting for the check for longer. BUT...you're on vacation...so it's totally fine....the waiters are working their butts off...it's crowded and busy, not like they're slacking off or anything...and sweet as can be. Just don't come if you're in a hurry

Little restaurant with great atmosphere and hearty food. Very polite and helpful staff. If you are after excellent quality of reasonably priced food this one is definitely for you ! Highly recommended Enjoy ????

Smallish brasserie-type restaurant just yards from the beach. Excellent and very generous assiette de charcuterie and a very nice Bavette à l'échalote. Very friendly. Good value.
