The Golden Egg - Ypsilanti

This place is excellent!! Hubby and I stopped in for a quick breakfast, both had French toast. It was delightful. Clean, friendly staff. Will for sure be back!!

It's one of those places that outlasts the constant waves of corporatization and chain restaurants to offer simple but delicious breakfast food for a great price. Skip ihop and get some Golden Egg. If you visit often enough they actually remember your order by name.

This is my second visit to this restaurant, and I must say that both experiences have been outstanding. Chef Marco demonstrates exceptional talent in the kitchen, and the staff is consistently cheerful and remarkably efficient. The way they communicate with one another reflects mutual respect and great teamwork. I highly recommend enjoying your breakfasts and lunches here. Thank you for another delightful and relaxing dining experience!

The breakfast was delicious! The service was exceptional. We visited for the first time last week and were welcomed with a warm greeting. Our server kindly walked us through the menu. The breakfast offered classic diner fare, which was delightful. We're definitely going to make this fantastic diner a regular stop!
