Chicken On The Run - Yuma

My husband and I had dinner at the restaurant in the Foothills the night before last. I usually don't eat fried or any kind of chicken anywhere because the chicken is always dry on the inside. The outside crust is crispy and the inside is so juicy! The food is so good and the staff is so nice, we'll definitely be back. The Dominguez family.

I really like the way the chicken is cooked here. It's very crispy and tender and flavorful. Coleslaw is done good and so is the baked beans. The dude that was our waiter really hustles. Very good service. Love how they serve lemon. It's little packets of lemon juice. Instead of a dirty sliced lemon in your water or tea. Prices are very very good. I find it to be low price for great food.

Good breakfast food. Busy place means a bit of a wait to be served and get food.

Food was awesome! Ribs so tender it fell off the bone, chicken moist and juicy, breading different but crispy and very nice. Potato salad flavorful and not mushy , and beans to fall in love with . Staff was adorable , resturaunt is quaint and there is lots of room for a big party or a intimate lunch....can't wait to go back to try the breakfast menu!

I heard favorable comments from my friends about the awesome menu choices offered at Chicken On the Run. Holy smokes! This place is the total epitome of good, old fashioned cooking like your grandma did for you growing up. The food was absolutely delicious, portion sizes were generous, and prices almost too good to believe. The simplistic atmosphere and down-to-earth, friendly wait staff reminded me of Mel's Diner. The entire experience was a score, and I plan to return soon!
