Yungaburra Hotel

The three kilometers long walk around the lake along a well maintained path is a great way to see this beautiful lake from all angles. easier access to the lake via stages and a ramp is available if you want to swim or paddle.

We had spent most of the morning in the area and were looking for a quick lunch. The food was good, service was quick and pleasant and prices were reasonable.

We enjoyed a decent pub feed, good smiley service and a game of pool. Just what you want in a country pub.

We ate as part of a Wait a while tour and our food was ordered by phone before arrival. But we all were happy with our food, both strak and fish was really good and solid portions. Quaint old place, but a pleasant surprise :

A great old timber building which has been carefully preserved. The food is fresh, appropriately cooked and well presented, the young chefs we saw were very excited with their opportunities.
