I have to say, I was generally unimpressed with the food in Zacatecas, so I was looking for a more authentic place with tasty pozole or tortas. As soon as I saw the banner, I was convinced that I'd found what I was craving. I was not disappointed! Here, the food is made to order, of course, and the woman behind the counter was friendly and fast. The torta meat, lettuce, and avocado were fresh, and so was the bolillo, which usually isn't. It was so tasty, we wanted to come back for dinner, but we returned too late from our outings. This is a little tiny hole-in-the-wall with maybe three or four small tables. There was only one other couple there eating when we walked in. But it was clean and cheap and the food was good, so I highly recommend it for lunch, especially if you happen to be headed to - or coming from - the Rafael Coronel Museum. It's on Abasalo Ave (which is one street behind the main avenue, Hidalgo) in between both Coronel Museums. Hope that helps! Happy eating!
