Barajul Drăgan-floroiu - Zalău

Beautiful place for a long but relaxing walk. the hike around the reservoir is about 28 km. they can begin by reaching a left, just before reaching the art 1000 hut and they keep left on the most used roads. the other side of the sea that they can see from the damm is wilder and has thought rows of trees so that they are not able to really see the sea. it was also surprisingly colonized with some houses appearing. the help of the sturgeon with the staudamm is more open, so they can see the sea much better. the region has no net cover, so keep in the eye.

Very big dam, 120m height, it's the fifth dam in Romania by height. Surrounded by a superb views on every side it makes a nice scene anytime of the year. Just a quick note the road to the dam is quite bad from Valea Draganului and very bad coming from Remeți și be careful.

If you start from Meziad (or something like that) you will travel over a very beautiful road, then you will reach the top of the mountain and the whole lake will be visible. The view is breathtaking. Then you can descent and walk on the damn.
