Rake's Place - Zanesville

I visited Rake's Place yesterday with a couple of colleagues and was extremely impressed with the entire experience. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, from the main dining area to the wrap-around bar room to the outdoor seating with garage doors. The decor is also very impressive, with the whole place looking clean and sharp. The food was delicious and came out quickly. The staff was friendly and attentive, and we had a great experience with Michelle at the end. It's clear that the culture at Rake's Place is strong, and they take pride in delivering a great guest experience. I will definitely be back, despite the distance.

The restaurant was very loud and it took a while to receive our food. The portion sizes were a bit small for the price, so I'm not sure if I will return soon. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

We had a delicious meal at this restaurant. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries and a filet with roasted Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. The flavors were amazing. Although the filet was on the pricey side, it was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place! The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect for a nice lunch. Overall, I would give it a 5-star rating for food, service, and atmosphere. The price per person was around $20-30.

We had the PrimeRib since it was the Thursday special. We ordered very rare and we were not disappointed. The wedge salad was very crisp and served perfectly chilled with outstanding Bleu cheese dressing and bacon, red onion and tomato. Also of note was the crispy Brussels sprouts roasted and a Balsamic sweet glaze. Our server was very responsive and friendly. It was a busy dinner hour and noisier than we like. The atmosphere just didn't match the food and service. We will return often.

We sat outside about a week and a half ago. Food was great service not so much. Young tall girl E- something. Seemed nice to start but then forgot to put our appetizers in. Spent more time socializing and sitting at tables then taking care of us. We will try again as long as we have a more attentive server. We spent 120 dollars and a gracious tip considering .
