Kena Beach - Zanzibar

We love to stay here. Free upgrade, great service, good food, great location. Everything was perfect.

Incredibly courteous, extremely welcoming, a beautiful environment in an excellent location. the beach itself is worth the stay, but there are so many things to add. the bar staff are knowledgeable about their drinks, eating is unbelievable with local ingredients that are bought daily for great quality. there are two starter options, 2-3 dinner options and two to three whispers. we had no bad court. we were in the deluxe double room, which has a private garden, outdoor shower, indoor shower, massive bathroom, double sink, deluxe double bed and enclosed room for wc. it is incredibly quiet in the night. all air conditioning systems with a ventilator. the personal always helps and ensures that your stay is the best that it can be. they can book everything they need and have a pre-site diving center with baptism of activities, including mnemba island close. definitely worth a revisit.

I wish I could give kena 6 stars! we booked very last minute and hishma (the manager) was very courteous and helped us with our Wi-Fi requirements for the work. the gardens are stunning and the rooms are beautifully decorated. we even had an outside shower that was beautiful! the personal was very accommodating and I appreciate the environmentally friendly nature of the place. I worked far away during my time there and the wifi was excellent. a plus: they have a great dive shop in front of place to dive and snorkel.

The best Hotel I have stayed at for the last 3 years. The hotel is directly at the beach, the staff are trying to achieve all your wishes. The manager is a young smart guy with a vision to serve all guest without letting them nohing it. You feel like your at home
