Princess Salme Inn - Zanzibar

Not the best area of the city, but the place itself is only FANTASTIC!! The receptionist, the beautiful Gertrude, was the sweetest person we met on the island and very helpful with the search for beautiful spots to drink, eat and see the sunset and even get us a rental car for a very good rate. The room was immaculate and charming with beautiful water pressure and very quiet. Breakfast was on a beautiful sunny terrace and the food was fantastic. Really a great beginning of our trip for a price you simply cannot beat. I want the ginger and lime juice recipe!!

It was such a beautiful place to stay on the island. So affordable still near the port and most of the attractions. Staff are excellent and breakfast is just wonderful.

Great and peaceful place to stay in Stone Town. Wonderful staff (Meena <3) and very tasty breakfast on amazing roof. Rooms with air conditioning and fan over large old-fashioned canopy beds, simple bathrooms.

A cheap hotel with clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff.
