The Steak House - Zapata

The restaurant is a little outdated. could use some renovations in the dining room. but they built something while I was there.

There is much to wish when it comes to steak house. Previously they were absolutely amazing, but now the quality of the food is slipping. not sure what is.

Overall the service was friendly and fast. we were served chips and salsa after we set ourselves and also given a small free suppe. the food was delicious and.

Got a “large” chicken fried steak and it was horrible. What a waste of $15. Over cooked rice and old beans. This place used to have good food.

Formerly one of my favorite destinations. Our motorcycle group called ahead, to lunch here. For the second time, with the same group, I was the last person served, as most were finished eating. My order was a simple steak sandwich and fries. Several with chicken fried steak or chicken, were done eating. My meal was good, but not great.The menu price for my meal was $6.48. the check total was $11.97, with $1.71 gratuity, 78 tax. The $3.00 was explained away by a tiny note on the front of the menu, advising of price increases. Increases are understandable, gouging is not!
