Takumi Nanaban Ramen Kitchen - Zaventem

Was my first time at Takumi and it did not fail to impress. Tried the Veg Ramen and was pleasantly surprised with the taste and aroma. The soup in the Ramen was top class. Will try the rice items next time.

Food is simply amazing. Portions are big, and taste is delicious and authentic (no trace of MSG). Staff is friendly and multilingual. Serving time is quick, so it's even viable as a place to eat lunch during work. The atmosphere is great (although seating might become a bit cramped when crowded). What more do you need? Takeaway is also easy with their app, although I do wish there was the option to pay at pick up. No delivery, though (which is a shame). Edit: limited selection of (non-alcoholic) drinks, but the food more than makes up for it.

If you are a big fan of Japanese cuisine/dishes other than sushi. I definitely recommend this place! They have delicious curry rice noodle (ra-men) as well as bento styled menu. You can easily find their menu online to order it or take the order in location instead. My colleagues and I visited this place twice, and we couldn’t be more than happy to order something different from other times. We ordered ra-men the first time (there are many varieties), and the second time was for the curry. They are both delicious, and portions were great (for curry, we got side dishes like miso soup and seaweed salad mix). The taste of curry was definitely it reminded me of Japanese one. If I am not mistaken, the chef is Japanese (maybe not all of them). But I saw a lot of Japanese customers dining in this restaurant. so you can definitely be certain regarding on this restaurant being very popular among Japanese people. Ra-men was also good, and I need to eat it again to have a decent review as it's been some time, so I can't comment it 100%. Futher, the interior of the restaurant is great. I would love to eat at the restaurant next time. But it can definitely get crowded during lunch (depending on when). The staff are very friendly as usual and speak different languages too. I definitely recommend this place to everyone.

One way ticket for Sapporo. Oishiiii des! I found it better than Menma. That's the REAL deal. Can't wait to go back.
