Zámek Žďár Nad Sázavou

Very nice place to visit. not many tourist. the entry was free, tours were not. only with the tour you can reach the main part of the building. I don't know if the tour is worth being honest. all the tours were in Czech. I think it will be very interesting if you understand the tourguide.

Beautiful historical building embedded in a beautiful landscape.

The huge castle complex is very well maintained by its owners kinsky family, it is simply amazing. we really like how the buildings were reconstructed with taste. the orientation system is very artistic and beautiful. there is absolutely no visual smog of banners outside, so refreshing and unique in Czechia. there are all kinds of services in the burg: a caffe, a few muses, a souvenir shop, various types of accommodation, a church and even a school: the only thing we missed was a restaurant that would send fish into the kinskys ponds. I definitely recommend a tour named after santini’s footprints in many burg buildings. the guide tomas was super nice, he had a very interactive tour with asking and discussions and he knew a lot.

Zdar nad sazavou for those who like to be aktiw, Žďár nad sázavou tops to visit the list of the best cities in the Czech Republic. they can come in summer and enjoy cycling and swimming while in winter Žďár nad sázavou doubles as a long-running center. beside one of the best architectural works of jan blažej santini, the pilgrimage church dedicated to St. John of nepomuk, it is also a place to stay aktiw. as an important railway link between prag and brno, they have no problems to reach the active city Žďár nad sázavou.

A big complex of Basilica Minor and palace from the middle ages that today is a modern museum too. You must not missing take a walk there if in Žďár nad Sázavou...!
