Six months ago we visited here & really enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. Not this time. Our meal came to $65 for a one-person pizza, entree calamari & 2 glasses of wine. Whilst the pizza was very tasty and good quality, it is a very small size for a very large price. The calamari came with no sauce but just with a tiny slice of unripened lemon and it was undercooked. The wine was $12 a glass for very average quality wine. The waiters and waitresses were very polite & service was efficient, however this did not justify the tiny meal we got served for a $65 pricetag. We were left so hungry afterwards that we had to make a snack when we got home. I am disappointed to say that I will not be returning to Lucios pizza again.
Although a little on the expensive side (about $23-25 for a thin crust pizza), this restaurant offers a good array of quality authentic Italian food. I recommend making a reservation, particularly during dinner hours. Located in East Village shopping centre, which has a grocery store, pub, coffee shops, etc if you're looking to kill a few birds with one stone. All in all, a solid venue for a nice dinner out.
Visiting the area for one night. My step son selected this place based on a google review. Last time I bother taking his advice for food. Pizza base was soggy canned mushrooms, poor selection of types of pizzas. The only thing it had going for it was the quick service, guess that caused the under cooked pizza
Our group enjoyed their rustic pizzas, wine and desserts. The staff made us feel welcome during our time there. We would eat there again if we are in the Zetland area again.
