Braised Pork Rice - Zhongzheng District

The braised pork rice is absolutely amazing!!! So looking forward to coming back here again :

魯肉飯 （braised pork rice with vegetabels and the egg 滷蛋 for 95$ Every dish was extremely good down to the quality of the rice. The pork was savoury and paired well with the chilis. Small shop but really really good quality

I came across this place from walking around Taipei Main Station. The menu was pretty comprehensive and items were inexpensive for the amount they offer. I had an order of oily tofu and honestly it’s probably one of the best I’ve ever had because it’s actually not oily and has a subtle sweetness to it. They marinated it with braised pork and the taste was off the chart. Highly recommended.

This is a really tasty place. I had the braised pork rice, a chicken herbal soup, and the blanched vegetables. It beats Jin Feng in my opinion.

Braised pork, vegetables, and chicken soup with shetaki mushrooms were excellent in cute little renovated shop.
