Garrobos - ZIHUATANEJO

Off the beaten path so to speak, but well worth it! We had just had drinks at Banditos (early evening) and were walking around checking out restaurants for dinner later that evening. We took a right off of cinco de mayo one before we got to the Paseo. Saw a restaurant on the right and was given a card for a free welcome drink if we came back. Looked over the menu and decided that we would come back later in the evening and we did after walking around exploring all of the possibilities. We are glad that we did return for dinner. Food was excellent, service was excellent, ambiance was nice. This place is a little tough to find, but so well worth it. The staff here could not be more welcoming, etc. Even the chef came out to ask how our meals were and thank us for coming. Do not miss this place--you will be pleasantly surprised!

Beautiful street side restaurant, excellent service, delicious food! Our waiter spoke fluent English and was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. My husband and I both had their delicious seafood paella which we highly recommend, although it does take an hour to cook. Well worth the wait! On our second visit my husband thoroughly enjoyed his pasta with shrimp. We will definitely be back next year!
