Even though the place is not fancy at all, the food is as fresh as it can get, here is where the locals with above average spending money eat. The menu is limited but they sure specialize on those few items. The freshness of the scallops ceviche can be compared to japan's prime restaurants. They have tiritas, shrimp aguachile, fried fish and rice. Do ask for the jalapeño chile, the cucumber, avocado and onion on the side so you can add accordingly. The seafood soup is too spicy for my taste. For skeptics foreigners do not be afraid....someone took me here 2 years ago and i have never been sick or gotten food poisoning so i suggest you take a chance. I return to this small resturant every time i go to ixtapa-zihuatanejo. On the corner is a fresh coconut stand if you like to drink something different and bring it in the restaurant, Queto does not mind and he will surely give you personalized attention in the "open kitchen".
