They are one of the few places that have beer on tap, and that is itself worth having. Some Tex-mex, with more Mexican style dishes are available, with the Guerrero Onion being one of our favs. It’s similar to a Blooming Onion, that you get Stateside. Lots of other choices, so everyone should find something they like. Ribs are very good also. Service is friendly, and personable, which is also a plus.
We googled it and the menu! The listing advertising ,,, Monday all you can eat ribs, for 145 peso,we went, but were told that ad is old , they no longer offer that, but you can have ribs, but, 3 ribs plus a few fries a littlecoleslaw, is 190 peso,,,, we were there at6 , we were the only ones there, ribs were ok, bar b que shrimp were, 200 peso for about 4, and left a lot to be desired, oh well when we complained about the misleading ad, we realized, this is their way of bringing people in, so you decide?????
Bbq house style. Most of our group ordered the St Louis ribs. Good portions and sides but ribs were not hot but were cooked. I assume it was because we were in a group of about 20. Still taste was good. Will try again in smaller group. Very friendly place and clean.
I wandered into Sr. Pinto 's years ago years ago, hot, tired, and thirsty, and truly a weary traveler. The waitress didn 't bat an eye when I asked for something cold, but without alcohol or sugar. She whipped up a great big mug of sparkling water, orange juice, and a tad of lime. When I perked up, I realized I was hungry, so I ordered fried cat fish, cactus strips, smoked beans, and coleslaw. That was about 1996 or '97. I have been back not only every year since, but many times a year. Sadly I was out of the country when they had the Grand Opening of the all-new Sr. Pinto 's, but I was so happy when I did go to the elegant new place and saw all the old familiar faces. By the way, if you do drink alcohol or like sugar, they have what you like. You 'll like it. Go.
We tried Sr Pintos for dinner one nite ! Reminds me of Beer and Pub food place anywhere in USA or Canada. Well its run by a American Fellow so the Food is rather Pub Style wings burgers ribs etc . so if your looking for a break from Mexican fare it could fit the bill . Had the Ribs and they were good not to dry and a tasty BBQ sauce flavour also tried the sirloin burger which was also good ! good variety of beers and wine on tap service was good . like I said if your looking for a change Try it !! otherwise wait till your home and hit up the several in any given city .
