Hotel Weisser Schwan - Zossen

The hotel was really nice. I was a little sceptical about the price, but it was really worth coming here. The food was really great and the service was really friendly. The ambience was nice, it was nice. The room we lived in was beautifully large and bright. The beds were beguem and the bathroom was nicely large. It was a bomb. When we checked in and out, everything went well. So everything was top.

This restaurant was visited at the end of June. We were before and the food, etc. was good. This visit is completely different. Saw at a table on the terrace and wait for a menu. At some point, a menu was picked up by a neighboring table. After 15 minutes we managed to sneak waiters to ask for a drink. He informed us that he was short and back in a minute. No sign for a long time. We just wanted to go when he showed up. And we ordered two beers and the food. In the next 10 minutes asked for beer twice every time it would be here in a minute. After 40 minutes finally beer. When food arrives, order gets wrong 2 grills when we had ordered 1 and a zander (we had a discussion about the fish when ordering). Next marathon, the bill. Ask for bill and wait. Go to the hotel, no sign of waiter. We talk to the cook (very nice). There are 2 meals on serving hatch waiting for delivery. After 15 minutes and talking to Koch, we'll let him know we'll return and pay tomorrow. The food at the hatch is finally collected by customers who came to see what happened. Another family had no attention from the waiter after 40 minutes It seems that the whole restaurant was served by 2 people – the cook and waiter cum barman cum hotel receptionist. A complete shame. In addition to the other diners there is a party of 12 – 15 people who take on themselves all the time. The next day the waiter tells us very rudely our behavior unacceptable and he could call the police to invite him to do so. Paid by credit card, Bill presented in pounds, refused to accept it, but he refused to change it, said we were English and told us to come. All very unpleasant no concept of customer service at all.

I recommend both the hotel and the restaurant. The sun terrace is a must with dog. Friendly staff and delicious food. We'll be back.

We were more often in White Swan and drink coffee so far in the afternoon. The hotel restaurant is located on the Zossen city park and has a beautiful summer terrace, on the edge of the park, overlooking the park. For rainy days there is a large, beautiful restaurant room, also overlooking the city park. In the meantime it has been rebuilt; the very large summer terrace has been reduced somewhat, because it has grown a conservatory. For the summer months, the terrace is still large enough. We always sat on the summer terrace during our visits. For coffee fans there are various types of coffee, including cakes and dessert card. Both the cake and the ice cups were delicious. Once we took Soljanka, which was served with delicious bread and tasted very well. Now we were back in the White Swan after the reconstruction. It turned out that we wanted to eat something earlier a day. So we could finally taste the food, so far we only knew coffee and cake next to the Soljanka. I had studied the menu in advance on the Internet, and I had a lot to know. Right now, I could convince my companion to order the tapa manufacturer we shared. A good idea! Olives, sheepskin, ham, chicken wings, mini bezels and more – and absolutely delicious. As the main course a sore steak with potato salad and herbal butter for me, pork melodies with forest mushroom sauce and croquettes for my companion. The main courts were also a poem. The prices for the main dishes are on the upper average to slightly elevated area, their money is worth everything. And the portions are really big. We sat relaxed on the summer terrace and let us go well. The service was fast and friendly what we wanted more. Behind the hotel there is a parking lot. From there it is just a few steps to the beautiful summer terrace. I can't say anything about the hotel area because we were there for dinner. And we can recommend that. Whether eating, drinking coffee or simply drinking something – guests are welcome.
