Ali Baba - Zuerich

A small yet tasty eatery in Zurich near the HBF. We ordered the non spicy biryani and it tasted like home cooked pulaao. Everything was prepared fresh, the green chutney and raita were also very good.

Very tasty and delicious food and very good service, and the food price is very convenient and a very awesome place.

It was our first day in Zurich and we were looking for a halal place nearby. Ali Baba was the closest so we gave it a shot. The restaurant has an interesting mix of Turkish and Bangladeshi food options plus pizzas. We tried Kebab sandwich and pizza and found both very tasteful. The restaurant also had different curry and rice options but we didn’t try those. It’s a nice little place with good food but nothing special that compels one to visit Ali Baba.

I'll go there a few time a year, when I'll have business around the area. I never was disappointed by the food and the warm receiving from Hassan, the owner. Usually, it's the the place I can watch some cricket's game, as this is his favorite sport. Just walk a few 100 m from Limmatplatz and take your time to enjoy your delicious Kebad or Indian food.
