Happy Souls - Zuerich

Der Empfang war inakzeptabel. Wir mussten mit der Empfangsdame verhandeln, was wir bestellen würden, um einen Tisch in einem leeren Restaurant zu bekommen. Nein.

SO is truly my favourite restaurant in Zurich. I like everything about it from the vibe to the concept, the yummy pizza and the friendly staff. You can try so many variations of pizza so you never get bored. The pizza is very thin and crispy, just the way it should be : Finally a place i Zurich where you can eat your heart content with great food without getting broke :

It's true, being Italian I'm extremely picky about Pizza. Most of the times it's an extreme disappointment eating Pizza out of Italy. Nonetheless I really enjoyed the concept and price quality of SO, especially considering the average prices of eating out in Zurich. The waiters are friendly and swing by repeatedly with different pizzas just taken out of the oven (so it's never cold and you can try as many pieces you want till you drop, all of different sorts or you can just wait for the next one if you dont like a specific sort . They also serve a free salad as a starter all the magic for just 29CHF. The only downside are drinks (not included, obviously they even charge you for a glass of water (come on! . Absolutely worth checking out!

So is a pizza restaurant with a difference. Firstly, the pizzas are not quite pizzas ... rather more in the direction of a Flammenkuchen ... ultra thin crust, low on tomatoes and cheese. Secondly, the concept of more like a Brazilian Churrascaria. You get a salad starter and then the staff come by with freshly cooked pizzas/flammenkuchen with all sorts of different toppings and serve you as many slices as you want.Decor is simple, the atmosphere is very relaxed, albeit a bit loud. Price by Zurich standards is low. Service friendly. Go for a novel pizza experience, relax and enjoy

Pizza mal anders! Am Anfang gibt es eine Schüssel Salad (Sosse kann nicht gewählt werden) mit Pizzabrot. Das Brot kommt direkt aus dem Ofen, noch warm und superfein! Die Pizzas waren super. Pizzastücke à discretion mal anders. Man bekommt keine 0815-Pizzas serviert und probiert andere Kreationen. SEHR FEIN! Die Pizzen haben einen super Teig. Komme bald wieder! Bin jedoch gespannt, wenn ich mal mit eineren grösseren Gruppe komme, wie die Wartezeiten sind.
