Gloria - Zürich

Beautiful caffe with beautiful waiter. the portions were generous and the quality of the touch and croissant was good. best breakfast place in the neighbourhood.

Nice little restaurant. Very creative and tasty food, freindly staff.. and decent prices.. a place you want to go back to and try all dishes on their menu.

Gloria must have had better time. Inside and style feels '80s. the service is fast for terrarium, but the beer is not really cold. prices typical of zürich too high and the wooden seats etc outside was not really comfortable. in shaby. chic probably still original 80s. all comfortable. parking available. not good, but good for a fast drink and after work talk.

I stopped in gloria for an early drink. the gentleman at the bar was very nice during my visit. they offered soy milk, so I chose soy milk hotose (5chf) which was very good. I can't really say what else. was on the menu, as I didn't see, one around everywhere. I was really surprised how quiet the place was shortly after the opening hours. the place offers lots of natural light from all round windows and soft music in the background that contributes to the relaxed atmosphere. there are timings, local flyers, full bar, clean toilets a book exchange and definitiw a good location to bring their laptop to projects as they provide free secured wlan. take a seat on one of the tables (or the comfortable sofa in the corner) and enjoy it. I was happy with my visit, but I would suggest that they place menus on the table.

Beautiful bench on the road creates a casual environment that is perfect for a desire friend. solid hearty meal with a traditional Swiss feeling.
